Tool for remote access

Some of our users have people performing various operations at home, such as updating pledge data or entering contributions. This can be done without tranfering files by using a free program for remote access called LogMeIn. If you have broadband access it will allow you to run MemInfo using a web browser from any remote location. There is a version with an annual $70 charge, but it would not be needed for simple access. Of course, it allows only one user at a time.

 

Be careful with your password, as it gives complete access to the computer. We recommend not transmitting the password by email, as that is insecure. Let us know if you have questions.
