The newest version of MemInfo is 08.02.06. See below for a description of the changes. Download the file and then install it in the meminfo directory. If you are using Vista, click here for instructions. If your current version is not 08.x, you must have an upgrade code to use this version. Send us an email to receive your code.

When changing auction files, be sure to close all of the windows first.

We no longer provide a backup facility in MemInfo. Since most users are backing up to CD-ROM, there is no longer a need to compress the files. We recommend that you frequently backup the meminfo/data directory. If you have pictures, that directory should be backed up as well. If you choose to compress, Windows now provides zip.

Although we won't be responsible for backups, there is still a facility for creating a zip file of your data. Go to Files, Setup, Misc, Send data to Support. You can choose where to save the file, called backmi.zip.

Be sure to backup your data before making the change.

If you want the upgrade on CD-ROM, send email.

After you download the file, Run it either from the desktop by double clicking it, or by double clicking it in Explorer. Be sure that you install it in the directory for MemInfo, usually c:\program files\meminfo, but for new installations c:\meminfo. For Vista, the directory may not be within c:\program files\.

You can then delete the installation file if you wish. The user manual is an Adobe Acrobat file called memuser.pdf. s

Changes formatting options for photo directory. The membership directory will now put photos to the left or to the right of each entry, and wrap the text around it. Putting the photo above the entry is no longer allowed. Note: If an entry crosses over a column or page boundary, the entire entry is kept together, but its photo is left behind.  So, the user will need to look at the bottom of each column on each page to see if there's a photo sitting there, and then manually move it to the top of the next column.
